Taking advantage of the nice weather

For the next two or three days, we're supposed to have lots of sun and near-record high temperatures, so we're trying to take advantage of the nice weather and get more things outside taken care of asap.

It looks like Hurricane Sandy is going to pay us a visit in New England at the beginning of next week, so we need to keep on eye on that too.

On the decluttering front, there are a couple of things leaving the house:

-a mini food processor that we have no clue where it came from. My guess is that it's something Hubby found as a freebie somewhere, and I didn't want it, so it got stuck in the cupboard underneath the hutch.

-a set of placemats from the 80s or 90s. We don't use placemats, so they'll go to the thrift shop so somebody else can get some use from them. I had toyed with the idea of using them in a sewing project, but know that I'll probably never get around to it, so they can go.

-an unused citronella candle from a pack I bought this summer that turned out not to be strong enough for battling off our horse-sized mosquitoes

Now I'm off to mow our front lawn one more time before snow flies...Enjoy your day!
